Professor Chen Daoxu. Doctoral Supervisor, born in 1947, graduated from Nanjing University. He has been a Visiting Scholar in Purdue University of the USA from 1985 to 1986; during 1995 to 1996, he was a superior Visiting Scholar in City University of Hong Kong. At present, He is the director of Computer department. His research directions are Distributed Computing and Parallel Processing. He has participated in many programs of National Key Importance and "863 projects". He awarded the first prize and second prize of National Education Committee each one time. He published about 10 papers and 2 coauthor monographs. He awarded the recognition award of academic work and first prize of excellent teaching material from National Education Committee. He has been enjoying the "State Council Special Allowance" from 1993.
