Assignment 2: Data mining sub-domains survey
This assignment will occupy 25% in your
final score of the course
The authors of the best works will be awarded
a chance of 15 minutes' presentation in the class, plus several additional points
on this assignment.
Choose any of the topics listed below, collect
and read at least six papers on this topic, and then write a report in Chinese.
Note that you should review the state-of-the-art of your chosen area (e.g., what are the problems concerned?
what have been done? what will be done?), and give your own opinions in your paper (in order to accomplish a good work, you may need to read far more
than six papers).

the assignment by yourself. Materials used should be appropriately referred.

Assign an appropriate
title to your paper. Your report should contain abstract, keywords, main
body, acknowledgements if necessary, and references. Put your name and student
number under the title.

Upload your file to ftp://lamda.nju.edu.cn/dm/assignment2/ (user: dm09, password: dm09) by the deadline.
The folder for uploading will be shut off when the deadline is reached.
Considering possible network problems, you may not want to upload your file
just at the deadline.
