Short Biography

I am a full professor of Computer Science Department at Nanjing University . My research work has mainly focused on AI+IOT, i.e., Sensing Intelligence and Edge Intelligence(感知智能和边缘智能) in the area of ubiquitous computing, wise medical, and industrial Internet of Things.

My current research work focuses on Wireless Sensing (RFID, Ultrasonic, mmWave, etc.), Multi-Modal Sensing (Computer Vision, Inertial Sensing, Acoustic Sensing, etc.),Wearable Computing and Edge Computing . Here briefly describes some research topic that I am currently interested in:

·  Indoor Localization and Human Activity Sensing in RFID/Acoustic/mmWave Systems

·  Multi-modal Sensing in Smart Wearable Systems (Smart Phone, Smart Watch, Smart Glass, etc.)

·  Computer Vision+ in Edge Computing Systems

·  Prototype Design of Intelligent Sensing Systems (Smart Health, Smart Home, Industrial Internet, etc.)
