S. C. Cheung(张成志)

Software Engineering in a Digital World

Computing is undergoing an evolution, which brings changes to our daily lives. However, various software engineering issues in ubiquitous computing need to be addressed before digital life comes true. The talk will overview emerging applications brought about by ubiquitous computing. Motivating by these applica
tions, we will examine the direction of software engineering research in a digital world, and give an account of some initial attempts at HKUST in such direction.
